Prior to her scandalous new affair, the singer was linked to a number of A-list hunks, most notably Blanco’s partner Justin Bieber, 29, whom the producer previously lauded while referring to her as a ‘cookie-cutter pop artist.’
Gomez has also dated The Weeknd, Zedd, Nick Jonas, Taylor Lautner, and has been connected to a number of other celebrities, most notably Zayn Malik.

JONAS, NICK (2008)
In 2008, Gomez began dating Jonas Brothers guitarist Nick Jonas, 31.
She even appeared in the Jonas Brothers’ ‘Burnin’ Up’ music video during their brief relationship.
Nick was also notably linked to singer Miley Cyrus at the time.
There was no bad blood between the pair, as Gomez told W magazine in 2016: ‘We never feuded. When we were 16, we both had feelings for the same man… We’ve finally settled into our own lifestyles.’
LAUTNER, TAYLOR (2009)
In 2009, Selena had a short affair with Twilight hottie Taylor Lautner, 31.
They met on the set of Ramona and Beezus and Twilight: New Moon, respectively.
‘Kristen [Stewart] was a guest at my hotel. He would pay her visits, so we kept bumping into one other in the lobby—and we ended up meeting,’ Selena said to Seventeen magazine at the time.
The overwhelming public attention in the affair, however, became too much for the couple.
‘We’d go out for lunch and supper, but I knew he had reporters following him and I had paparazzi behind me. So we genuinely just wanted to hang out, go bowling, and whatnot, and I guess it got a bit out of hand. People were becoming obsessed with us.’
JUSTIN BIEBER (2009–2014; 2017–2018)
Selena’s most well-known relationship was with musician Justin Bieber.
The Rare Beauty entrepreneur and Canadian singer, 29, had an on-again, off-again relationship from 2010 to 2018, before calling it quits only months before his engagement to now-wife Hailey Bieber.
When Justin serenaded Selena with ‘One Less Lonely Girl’ on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in 2009, sparks flared.
Throughout 2010, the couple denied relationship rumors, with Selena referring to Justin as her ‘little brother.’
Later that year, however, the couple was seen enjoying pancakes at IHOP before beginning to attend red carpet events together, including the premiere of Katy Perry: Part of Me.
The couple dated on and off until April 2014, when Selena allegedly discovered images of Kylie Jenner on Justin’s phone, resulting in a breakup battle.
Just a few months later, the couple was back together, with Justin captioning a snapshot of the duo, ‘Our love is unconditional.’
However, the reconciliation was short-lived, as the couple broke up again in October.
Justin and Selena were photographed eating breakfast and attending a church service together in October of 2017.
The couple was spotted together on bike rides and at hockey games until March 2018, when they called it quits for good.
Selena published two caustic breakup ballads about Justin, Lose You to Love Me and Look at Her Now, while Justin married Hailey.
Selena allegedly had a lupus-related breakdown and sought therapy for her mental health a month after Justin married Hailey.
Justin was seen looking distraught as he sat in his vehicle with Hailey the day after news of Selena’s reported breakdown surfaced.
Back in 2020, Justin retweeted a social media post by a Selena fan encouraging people to flood Hailey’s livestream with comments saying, ‘Jelena was better.’
‘It is really difficult to chose the high path when I witness jerks like these rallying others to harass the person I love the most in this world,’ Justin added.
BLOOM, ORLANDO (2014)
The actress was connected to Lord of the Rings actor Orlando Bloom, 46, in 2014.
It was rumored at the time that the couple hooked up to make Miranda Kerr and Justin Bieber jealous after they supposedly flirted during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
After being photographed together outside of a Chelsea Handler event, Selena and Orlando dismissed the romance rumors.
(January 2015 – March 2015) ZEDD
Selena and Zedd, both 34, met when they were working on music together.
They fell in love, with Zedd even posting a photo of Selena in bed at one point.
In a 2017 interview with Elle, the Russian German DJ discussed the relationship.
‘My parents were being contacted by reporters. My pals’ phones were being hacked. I was furious. [Although] I was aware of what I was getting myself into… She’s one of the world’s most talked-about persons, but I had no clue how much it would affect my life.’
