The immediate cause of death listed on the death certificate is cardiac arrhythmia, which is an irregularity in the timing or pattern of the heartbeat. The list of contributory factors included atherosclerotic coronary artery disease as well.
Christina Sandera was well-known for her charity work in addition to her romance with Clint Eastwood. Eastwood released a statement expressing his sadness, saying, “Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much.” This loss came as a shock. Sandera was a hostess at Eastwood’s Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, where the couple’s love affair started.
Over the course of their ten-year relationship, they attended a few special events together despite keeping their affair a secret. Alongside Eastwood, Sandera walked the red carpet for films including “Sully” (2016), “The Mule” (2018), and “The 15:17 to Paris” (2016). The premiere of Eastwood’s film “Richard Jewell” took place at AFI Fest in Hollywood in November 2019, marking their final public appearance together.
Despite the fact that Clint Eastwood never wed Sandera, his eight children welcomed her into the family. Morgan, Eastwood’s daughter, honored Sandera by posting a touching picture of the couple from her wedding last month. They spent the important day at Eastwood’s well-known Monterey County beach ranch, where he had initially met Sandera.
Clint Eastwood and his family are certainly devastated by this loss. They will treasure their recollections of Christina Sandera as a devoted and helpful companion.
